For me it is connected with emotion. Not with a deep and long-lasting felling resulting from some experiences, but with a short and bright one, of a very positive nature, namely with the feeling you get watching a sunrise, or trickling brook, or sparkling snow, or a placid, orange-coloured sunset While listening to the music you can vividly and clearly with the help of your imagination create all these pictures in your mind. A lot of poetry could be written or a whole picture gallery could be created while under the spell of this nocturne. It inspires, creates a very special mood! Only people of genius and utmost creativity are able to produce such masterpieces, and only their creative work can evoke such emotions and be a muse for other composers!
